Travel South-east via the ‘lion city’ of Ifrane, monkey’s troops of Azrou and Cedar forests. Mid-day midday meal at Midelt. Continue to travel south – exploring the Atlas Mountains landscapes. Reach the gateway to the desert through Erfoud. Camel trek to your desert base camp – timing prior to sunset to enjoy the glorious view – exploring the dunes, dinner, base camp fire, traditional local music, free time and overnight stay in your private desert tent .
As you leave the glorious beauty of the desert behind you, the journey takes you west towards the famous Todra Gorge. The landscape begins to change as you move towards the open countryside. The final destination of the day will be Dades Gorge.
After morning meal drive to Ouarzazate, The well-known ‘Film Capital of the Desert’ gives you the insight into scene making of many famous films. Continue to the ancient Kasbah of Aït Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that is worthy of a visit. Driving over the 2,260m Tizi n’ Tichka Pass and then making a drop-down to the plains brings you to the end of your journey arriving in Marrakech by the early evening, free time and overnight stay.
After morning meal meet the Guide and start discovering Marrakech with its historical heritage, the visit includes ( Bahia palace, saadian tombs, Koutoubia mosque, jemaa el-fna Square, Souks… Etc, free time and overnight stay in Marrakech.
