Morocco Discovery – 10 days tour from Marrakech to Casablanca

Meet at your accommodation, enjoy and learn traditional Moroccan cooking class, after midday meal, start our Marrakech history and monuments walking tour, visiting first the main landmark of Marrakech, the Koutoubia Mosque, then walk beside the grave of the founder of the city of Marrakech, Youssef Iben Tashfin, passing through the beautiful gate of Bab Agnaou to visit the Saadian Toombs and the famous Bahia Palace, then walk through the alleys of the medina to the famous Jama el Fna square, visiting different shops and antique stores, Species, Souks Shopping, overnight stay in Marrakech.

Pick up from your accommodation, heading to Essaouira via Chichawa village, Sidi El Mokhtar, Argan forest where we can spot goats climbing Argan trees. We learn more about how Argan oil is extracted at a local women's cooperative. Reaching Essaouira, free time visiting the city. There are many places to visit such as the fishing port of Essaouira, Skala Kasbah, which was a citadel in the times of war, the Medina of Essaouira which can be explored easily as the streets are aligned opposite to every other Medina streets in Morocco, which look like a maze and Walk down the beach, etc... Getting back to the car around 16:00 pm to drive back to Marrakech by early evening.

After morning meal departure from Marrakech. The journey will take you to the Dades valley via Tizi-N-Tichka mountain pass, crossing the high Atlas Mountains, Berber Villages, Kasbahs, Ouarzazate, Skoura, El kalaat Megouna, There are photos stops, relaxing breaks for midday meal and coffee. Visits include: Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou and Ouarzazate. Dinner and Overnight stay in a hotel in Boumalne Dades gorge.

After morning meal, drive to Tinghir visit of Todra gorges continue to Merzouga desert crossing Tinjdad, Erfoud, reaching the Erg Chebbi, refreshing with mint tea, camel ride or 4WD crossing sand dunes to the base camp, the base camp is fully furnished with modern bathroom facilities. Dinner will be served, base campfire lit, and an opportunity to listen to traditional desert tunes, free time and overnight stay in your private tents.

An early wake up for sunrise is recommended, after morning meal camel ride or 4WD back to the car, then setting off for Fez through Erfoud, Errachidia, Ziz valley, Midelt, Sedar forest, Monkey troupes of Azro, stop in Ifrane ( the lion city), drop off at your accommodation, free time and overnight stay in Fez.

After morning meal, guided tour to discover the historical heritage of Fes city. The tour allows you to explore historical sites such as Madrasa El Bouinania, El Quaraoiyin mosque and university, south tower, pottery village, learning about local mosaic made, visiting different shops and antique stores, Species, Souks Shopping, Tannery, Nejjarine square, the residence of the king, the Medina and more, Overnight in Fes.

After morning meal drive to Chefchaouen via Meknes and Volubilis, free time and overnight stay in Chefchaouen.

Drive to Casablanca visiting Rabat (Hassan Tower, Mohammed V Mausoleum), (Hassan 2 mosque, Mohamed 5 square) in Casablanca, check-in your hotel and relaxation, (in the evening farewell dinner at Rick’s Café / Optional).

Transfer to Casablanca airport according to your flight timing.
