Our Morocco - 7 Day Itinerary Tour From Marrakech begins at 8:00 a.m. with a pick-up from your riad or hotel. Depart for Ouarzazate, the gateway to the desert through the High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi n’Tichka pass, where you’ll enjoy beautiful views, stunning scenery, and Berber villages. We’ll make a stop at the universal heritage site of the Kasbah d’Ait Benhaddou, as it was named by UNESCO in 1987. An old village that has been used as a backdrop for over 20 films, including “Gladiator”, “Indiana Jones” and “Laurence of Arabia”. Enjoy a walk to explore the traditional Moroccan style of architecture in which the kasbahs are built. Depart for Ouarzazate then Dades for dinner and overnight at the hotel.

After morning meal, you’ll head for the Todra Gorge, a 300-meter-high canyon in the eastern part of Morocco’s High Atlas Mountains, near the town of Tinghir, where you can go hiking, then on to the Sahara desert, Merzouga, to Erg Chebbi, where the dunes appear out of nowhere. Then enjoy an hour-long camel ride across the desert at sunset to our private base camp surrounded by towering sand dunes. Relax, listen to traditional Berber music, and watch the moon and stars in the stunning Sahara. Dinner and overnight at Merzouga Luxury desert base camp.

Before sunrise, you rise to take part in the fantastic sunrise. After that, you have morning meal and get ready to leave Merzouga for Fez. On our long drive, we enjoy the natural landscape of the Ziz Valley. We’ll stop to admire some impressive natural views, then continue on to the town of Midelt. Further on, we reach the beautiful town of Ifran, before arriving in Fez. Dinner and morning meal at the riad.

This is a Half-day guided tour of Fez. Fez is considered one of the most renowned cities in medieval Jewish history. It was once home to one of the most influential Talmudic students of all time, Rabbi Isaac Alfasi, as well as Maimonides in the years 1160 to 1165. Visit the Mellah with its synagogue. Fez is a secular and cultural hub with many facets.

The tour will take you back in time to Al Quaraouiyine University, the oldest university in the world (even before Oxford or the Sorbonne). We'll also visit the medieval medina with its Bou Anania medersa, the Nejjarine fountain and the Moulay Idriss mausoleum. Then, continue exploring the slender alleyways, home to numerous merchants and craftsmen selling a variety of wares including dates, fish, spices, copper urns and musical instruments.

The day trip starts with an early pick up from the airport or your accommodation in Fes. Then we depart to visit Meknes, the Ismaili capital and also one of the imperial cities of Morocco. In which we visit : Bab AlMansour, Sahrij Souani basin, the Royal stables, the granary and also the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. Free time for midday meal. Thereafter, we drive 30 km away from Meknes to visit the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. It is well preserved, as it is recognized as a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO. It has many beautiful mosaics scattered here and there, along with ancient pillars and archways, Later drive to Chefchaouen the blue city.

Getting lost in the narrow, unfrequented streets of Chefchaouen’s old town, with cats posing in front of incredibly sturdy indigo doors, many of which still retain their traditional old look… and elderly men in hooded coats, walking up and down the often blue streets and stairs, all in a pleasantly gentle setting.
