Upon your arrival at Tangier airport/port, our agent will be there to welcome you and take you on a captivating city tour, tailored to your schedule. Free time to explore the whitewashed hillside medina, home to the Dar el Makhzen - a museum housing a treasure trove of Moroccan artifacts. Within the medina, you'll also find the American Legation Museum, which tells the story of the first diplomatic relations between the U.S. and Morocco in an 1821 Moorish-style former consulate. Additionally, we'll visit the legendary Hercules caves, where, according to mythology, Hercules took a break during his labor, and whose opening is shaped like the African continent. We also visit the 17th-century kasbah Ait Ben Haddou that is considered a great example of Moroccan earthen clay architecture and a UNESCO world heritage site since 1987. Ait Ben Haddou is a historical site along the former caravan route between the desert and Marrakech. The drive continues via Tishka pass, reaching an altitude of 2260m. Overnight stay in Marrakech.
A local guide takes you on a journey of Marrakech.
