8 Days Imperial Cities & Sahara Desert Experience

After morning meal in the hotel, our authentic journey starts towards Rabat, the capital of Morocco, we will explore the Hassan Tower and the Oudaya Kasbah, then we continuous to Volubilis, here we will get in touch with a great history of the Roman ruins and learn about the archaeological site of Morocco history. After visiting the site, we will drive to the historical city of Morocco.

Overnight in Fes.

Your licensed National guide will meet you after morning meal for a fascinating historical tour of the spiritual capital of Morocco, Fes. The city, nestled in the hills, is mystical and magical. You’ll be transported in time as you visit the most beautiful madrassa in the nation, Al Qaraouine. Wander through the ancient medina and souks. Visit the photogenic tannery and learn about the first steps in processing hides into the beautiful leather handicrafts available around you.

Overnight in Fes.

After morning meal, we drive to Merzouga via the Anti-Atlas. Carry on down the road via the magnificent Ziz Gorges carved through lime stone mountains, stopping for panoramic views along the way – seeing the dense canopy of palms wedged between ancient striated cliffs which date to the Jurassic period. Then it’s straight to the impressive Erg Chebbi dunes. Later embark on our camel ride for an hour through the stunning dunes, the clean air and the beautiful sunset will provide us unforgettable moments, we continue to the base camp after the sunset where you will be welcome with tea and nuts.

Enjoy a rich morning meal before we start our adventure trip. We drive to Rissani, an ancient capital for the Alaouite Sultans and the most important market town for Sub-Sahara camel caravans. Visit to the big Souk (market). Later, departure for Todra gorges, have some time to enjoy Todra gorges and walk among the highest and narrowest gorges in Morocco. Lunch in a local restaurant. Later on, drive towards Dades gorges, you will explore the rock formations along the way. Enjoy the beauty of the Gorges scenery before we check-in our hotel.

Diner and Overnight in a Kasbah/Riad.

After morning meal, we drive to Kalaat M’gouna, “the rose city”, Carry on to Skoura and Ouarzazate city. We stop by the Kasbah of Taourirt for a picture and explanation, and continue to Ait Benhaddou. Here we have about 1 hour to visit the infamous Kasbah and the backdrop for many Film Capital hits and Films such as Game of thrones, Gladiator, The Mummy... All were filmed in this UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will then have time for midday meal. Hitting the road! we climb through the dramatic Tizi n’Tichka pass which reaches an altitude of 2260 M! we arrive at Marrakech in the afternoon.Overnight in a Hotel/Riad.ve to Kalaat M’gouna, “the rose city”, Carry on to Skoura and Ouarzazate city. Overnight in Marrakech

After morning meal in the Riad, you can start exploring Marrakech “the red city of Morocco''. We will ensure that you see the most important sites of historical and cultural interest, including the Majorelle Gardens, the Koutoubia Tower, the Saadian tombs, the Bahia Palace...

Lunch time, maybe it’s time to try some great local cuisine. Later on, you will walk through the souks and view hundreds of handicrafts, you will have some free time to wander by yourself in other parts of the city, free time in the evening...

Overnight in Marrakech

Option 1: if you have a flight back home in the afternoon/evening , then we will pick you up from the hotel in Marrakech 6 hours before your flight departure, and drive to Casablanca airport.

Option 2: if you have a flight back home at early morning, then you have to sleep in a hotel in Casablanca the 7th night, In such case we will pick you up 4 hours before your flight departure and drive to the airport.
