Travel southeast and via the ‘lion city’ of Ifrane, monkey’s troops of Azrou and Cedar forests. Mid-day midday meal at Midelt, continue to travel south via the Atlas Mountains landscapes. Reach the gateway to the desert through the city of Erfoud. Camel trek or 4x4 to your desert base camp – timing prior to sunset to enjoy the glorious view – exploring the dunes, dinner, base campfire, traditional local music, free time and overnight stay in your private desert tent.
An early wake-up for sunrise is recommended, after morning meal, 4WD back to the car, drive to Marrakech, free time and overnight stay in Marrakech.
