Special Discovery

I loved Riad Anata. It was a very special discovery for me given the way I stumbled upon this space. I usually love intimate, cozy, designer accommodations and this Riad not only meets all of these characteristics but exceeds them. Highly recommended Riad in a city that surprised me very positively.

Fabulous Stay

I spent 5 fabulous days at Riad Anata. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, and the meals are delicious and generous. The rooms are very nicely decorated, by color theme, clean and comfortable. Last but not least, the riad is also very well located. I highly recommend Riad Anata.

Calm Oasis in the Medina

Dar Bensouda was one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. It's a stunning riad, with amazing food, rooftop views and amenities. It's within walking distance to the main sites in Fes and feels like a calm oasis in the medina. The hammam and massage by Kawat were also incredible.

Disappointing Experience with Management

Numa is a big mistake and a greedy management: they refused to reimburse us after the September earthquake and even refused a coupon that we could have used later. We booked a night at Numa through booking and after the earthquake, we decided it was not the right time to visit Morocco. We knew that by the violence of it, even three weeks after (when we were supposed to visit) many people were still trying to find their closed ones and starting a long healing journey. We thus felt enjoying the luxury of Morocco was really misplaced. We reached out to Numa and they refused to arrange anything. They told us everything was right on their side (which is obviously good news) but argued she should still pay even if we did not go. They shamefully said we had to support Morocco: Numa, you are not Morocco and you are ok. We would have given this money to any cause of your choice to support people who actually needed it. You are a greedy place. You should feel ashamed.
